Everything you need to know about Manupuna Meats
You purchase a share of a whole beef directly from our partner ranchers. Your share is processed, vacuum-sealed, and stored in our triple-redundant storage system. You receive your portion throughout the year based on your share size, with a variety of cuts including steaks, roasts, and ground beef.
Each share includes a variety of cuts proportional to a whole beef. You'll receive steaks (ribeye, filet, New York strip), roasts, short ribs, stew meat, and ground beef. The 1/16 share provides 25-30 lbs, 1/8 share provides 50-60 lbs, and 1/4 share provides 100-120 lbs of premium beef.
The 1/16 share requires about 1 cubic foot of freezer space, 1/8 share needs 2 cubic feet, and 1/4 share needs 4 cubic feet. Most standard home freezers can accommodate the smaller shares, while larger shares may require a chest freezer or dedicated freezer space.
Payment is collected when your beef is ready for delivery, not when you reserve. You typically save 30-40% compared to retail prices for equivalent quality beef. The 1/8 share works out to about $5-6 per pound for premium, grass-fed beef that would normally cost $15-20 per pound at retail.
We currently serve all major Hawaiian islands: O'ahu, Maui, Big Island (Hawaii), Kaua'i, Moloka'i, and Lana'i. Delivery options vary by island, with both pickup locations and home delivery available. The optional $20 delivery fee covers transportation and handling to your location.
You can cancel or modify your reservation anytime before processing begins. Once your beef is processed and ready for delivery, the commitment becomes final for that year. We'll always work with you to find the best solution for your family's needs and can help you adjust for the following year.
